GFRIEND is a group of six divas formed under Source Music. The main concept of the group was “passionate melancholy” which means an orchestral and sentimental sound and “powerful innocent”, which is an innocent concept with the choreography of a knife life object. However, they are continuously reinventing themselves. They have also maintained their concept of storytelling which is the signature idea of their videos.
Gfriend made their debut through a mini album named “Season of Glass” on the Music Bank on 15th January 2015. On 18th May 2021, the group officially announced its exclusive contracts that would end with Source Music on 22nd May 2021 after which the group would disband the company.

#1 Sowon
Sowon, whose birth name is Kim So Jeong, was born on 7th December 1995. Her current age is 28 years. Born and brought up in Seoul, South Korea, she belongs to the zodiac sign Sagittarius. Her height is 173cm and her weight is 51kg. The position of Sowon in the group is a vocalist and visual. Sowon is also the leader of the group.
